About the Ministry
The Ministry of Innovation and Digital Transformation develops and implements state policy for promoting innovation, technological development and the digital transformation of the economy and the public sector.
The Ministry supports start-ups and high-tech companies, the transfer of research results to the market, and access to finance for innovation. Its work is aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the economy, developing modern and accessible electronic services, ensuring secure digital infrastructure, and fostering effective interaction between the state, citizens, businesses and research organisations.
The main areas of MIDT’s activity include:
- Developing policies for innovation, entrepreneurship and technological development in sectors such as artificial intelligence, defense and dual-use technologies, space technologies, microelectronics and more;
- Digital transformation of the administration and the development of accessible, user-centered electronic services;
- Promoting technology transfer and cooperation between science, business and the public sector;
- Developing electronic identity, state registers and shared digital infrastructure;

Information Systems
eGov.bg
It provides a personalized "My Space" workspace, as well as service discovery, information, request submission, payment, and delivery of results.
eAuth
Provides user authentication for access to electronic services.
eDelivery
A secure channel for sending, receiving, and storing electronic documents between citizens, businesses, and public administrations.
ePayment
The system provides a unified and secure environment for paying for electronic services and other public obligations, automatically notifying the relevant administration of the payment made.
RegiX
Exchange of reference and verification information between registers and information systems for official checks of data held in registers, thereby eliminating the need for citizens and businesses to submit paper documents.
ISCCMR
The System transforms registers from paper and unstructured formats into a digitized format, enabling the automated use of registry data by public administrations.
